WFMG has a range of premises available for company founders. It is able to organise suitable shop premises and office, storage and production space and it has specialist knowledge of the sector. Once the company as ben set up, young entrepreneurs are given support and advice by contact persons from the different industries. Designed as an inspiring office community, ALTES HAUS. at Regentenstraße 156 is aimed specifically at social impact players who want to work in a lovingly renovated townhouse with high-quality technical equipment. The aim is to create a community of idealists, pioneers and trailblazers who are committed to a regenerative economy and lifestyle on around 350 square meters. Flexible workspaces with around 12 to 15 workstations, a fully equipped podcast and streaming studio and an atmosphere based on shared values and the goal of creating social added value are provided. You can apply for membership – whether you belong to a non-profit organization, want to start or develop a social business or simply want to work in an environment that values social impact over financial gain. Membership fees are based to some extent on the respective budget.

Cooperation instead of competition is the motto of CO21 coworking. Initially, it formed the first classic coworking offer in Mönchengladbach starting in 2016 on Hindenburgstrasse; renowned local founders took their first steps towards self-employment there. Since the end of 2019 it has been located on Rathausstraße (Alter Markt). There, the Social Impact Lab Mönchengladbach is now responsible for supporting companies that primarily have the advantage of the community in mind or want to develop in the direction of social business. On three floors, CO21 offers workplaces, offices, event and seminar rooms and even overnight accommodation.

A coworking space by creatives for creatives – that’s something that hadn’t existed before in Mönchengladbach. Until  young filmmaker Çağdaş Eren Yüksel was looking for new space for his media production company Cocktailfilms. When he finally found suitable rooms near the Minto shopping mall, he knew right away: I’d like to launch more than just regular offices! And thus, “111 CoWorking” was born. Since the early summer of 2020, at Hindenburgstrasse 111, in the most central location, he has been offering a “sociable working atmosphere with a feel-good factor” – in the form of so-called hot desks (rented by the day), flex desks and fix desks. Around 15 workstations are available in total. Workshops, events and meetups and meeting rooms are also part of the portfolio, as are the popular “free beer Fridays”.

MGMG Coworking-Space

Marketing Gesellschaft Mönchengladbach mbH (MGMG) offers 3 flex-desk and 3 fixed-desk workstations for monthly rental. The price is valid for the rental period, which starts on a desired day and ends on the same day the following month. The rental is not automatically extended – so there are no toggle contracts. Booking and billing are completely digital to ensure maximum flexibility. The workstations are each equipped with a desk and desk chair. WLAN, a printer / scanner / copier (fair use) as well as the kitchen and the open space can also be used. Further inclusive services: Beverage flat rate (water, coffee), locker/lockable cupboard, use of MGMG conference rooms for customer appointments (by arrangement and availability), thinkbox and callbox.

Neuwerker Business Office

Räumlichkeiten Logo NeuwerkerThe business office which was set up by Volksbank at Dammer Strasse 136 has been in the hands of Duisburger D&D Immobilien und Beteiligungsmanagement GmbH since summer 2018. However, the concept of combining affordable office space with a creative coworking atmosphere has stayed the same. Tenants, especially young tradespeople and other small businesses looking to escape their home office, have access to a professional office infrastructure with shared conference and seminar rooms, a reception and a copying station. The 20 to 25-square meter offices are furnished by the tenants themselves. Storage rooms and self-storage options are also available.

The Nobel Business Center is all about lower overall costs while also offering better amenities. The special feature of the business model: The users – whether they are freelancers, run a small business or are looking for business premises for a regional branch – do not have to rent circulation areas, toilets, kitchens or meeting rooms, as is the norm – they only rent an office. The Business Center has been in existence since 2011, short rental periods of three months or more are possible, and office space is available in sizes from 13 to 150 m². The spatial cooperation of more than 50 tenants also results in numerous synergy effects.

At Bismarckstraße 100, the company offers 44 fully equipped, high-class offices on two floors, ranging from 8-square metre offices to an entire office floor. Their offerings also include two conference rooms, two open meeting spaces and parking. Up to 117 workstations are available. The distinguishing feature of Regus is that tenants also have access to more than 3000 business lounges worldwide.

Initially, the offer comprises of twelve offices between 14 and 61 square metres in size, which are ready for occupancy. The portfolio also includes a communal kitchen, a meeting and presentation room as well as a roof terrace. The modern office concept is aimed specifically at the self-employed and young companies; the rent includes all utilities. Special feature: Tenants of the Kabelwerk-Businesspark can also rent additional archive, storage and workshop spaces.

Sektor M

Through the companies located there, it can also act as a full-service agency and more. Sector M is not only a place of work, a shared office space and presentation area, it is also a space where new creative ideas and solutions that inspire customers can thrive. There is currently a focus on the media industry, but other industries have also found a home here.

Workspace Nordpark

Workspace Nordpark is located in a newly constructed office building on Madrider Straße in the heart of Nordpark. It combines modern working in a quiet atmosphere with a central location. The entire building is representative and meets all the requirements of today’s working culture.  It has spacious and representative meeting and training rooms on the 4th floor with access to a 60 m² roof terrace. The meeting and training rooms can be booked temporarily and are accessible barrier-free via an elevator. The communicative center of the coworking area offers the perfect place for networking, business meetings, innovative exchange of ideas or even for a little time out to recharge your batteries.

KG, the project facilitates the communication of work, art and social issues. At ZWISCHENRAUM, desks, rooms, meeting areas and exhibition spaces can be booked flexibly.
