hundertelf Coworking

A coworking space by creatives for creatives - that's something that hadn't existed before in Mönchengladbach. Until  young filmmaker Çağdaş Eren Yüksel was looking for new space for his media production company Cocktailfilms. When he finally found suitable rooms near the Minto shopping mall, he knew right away: I'd like to launch more than just regular offices! And thus, "111 CoWorking" was born. Since the early summer of 2020, at Hindenburgstrasse 111, in the most central location, he has been offering a "sociable working atmosphere with a feel-good factor" - in the form of so-called hot desks (rented by the day), flex desks and fix desks. Around 15 workstations are available in total. Workshops, events and meetups and meeting rooms are also part of the portfolio, as are the popular "free beer Fridays".

Community Logo CO21 CoworkingCooperation instead of competition is the motto of CO21 coworking. Initially, it formed the first classic coworking offer in Mönchengladbach starting in 2016 on Hindenburgstrasse; renowned local founders took their first steps towards self-employment there. Since the end of 2019 it has been located on Rathausstraße (Alter Markt). There, the Social Impact Lab Mönchengladbach is now responsible for supporting companies that primarily have the advantage of the community in mind or want to develop in the direction of social business. On three floors, CO21 offers workplaces, offices, event and seminar rooms and even overnight accommodation.

As of spring 2020, CO21 Coworking will be represented by an additional location at Hauptstrasse 91, directly on the Rheydt market square. It consists of two open-plan areas, one behind the other, with a window front and skylights. Coworking desks and various separate work islands are located in the front, while a large seminar and workshop room with adjoining terrace is located in the rear. Coworkers can use a telephone and meeting room on the ground floor free of charge. Further rooms, kitchen and sanitary facilities are located in the basement. Coworking is aimed at small companies, start-ups, freelancers, students or other interested parties from Rheydt and the surrounding area. The back room can also be used by educational institutions or similar institutions.

Räumlichkeiten Logo BlauschmiedeThe Blauschmiede start-up centre is located in the NEW-Blauhaus on the university campus, an innovation project of the NEW utility company and the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences. Start-ups from the energy sector and beyond can find a temporary home here. Its distinguishing feature is its proximity to the university and the NEW, whose innovation managers from six future-oriented industries are also accommodated in the Blauhaus.

KG, the project facilitates the communication of work, art and social issues. At ZWISCHENRAUM, desks, rooms, meeting areas and exhibition spaces can be booked flexibly. Since May 2021, the workplaces of the scholarship holders of the "Startup.Starterkit.MG" are also located there - for which purpose ZWISCHENRAUM has joined in the sponsorship. hundertelf Coworking

A coworking space by creatives for creatives - that's something that hadn't existed before in Mönchengladbach. Until  young filmmaker Çağdaş Eren Yüksel was looking for new space for his media production company Cocktailfilms. When he finally found suitable rooms near the Minto shopping mall, he knew right away: I'd like to launch more than just regular offices! And thus, "111 CoWorking" was born. Since the early summer of 2020, at Hindenburgstrasse 111, in the most central location, he has been offering a "sociable working atmosphere with a feel-good factor" - in the form of so-called hot desks (rented by the day), flex desks and fix desks. Around 15 workstations are available in total. Workshops, events and meetups and meeting rooms are also part of the portfolio, as are the popular "free beer Fridays".
