Companies on the Rheindahlen industrial estate on the B 57 in the west of Mönchengladbach include Deutsche BP and Rhenus Lub. The project developer Ixcocon has turned part of the site into a logistics park. The favourable location is also reflected in the fact that the Amazon warehouse is located there.

In Rheindahlen, not far from the district center, an industrial area is being developed south of Broicher Straße. In the immediate vicinity of a revitalized industrial site, the former cotton and cellulose spinning mill “W. Dilthey & Co.”, mainly industrial areas with a size of 2,500 to 10,000 m² for medium-sized companies are to be developed on Käthe-Höffkes-Straße.

Mönchengladbach Airport covers an area of just under 120 hectares. A total of eight hangars offer a floor space of over 16,000 m². Two additional hangars are (as of Q2/2023) in the process of being renovated, adding almost 6,000 m². This will create new capacity for additional aircraft, of which there are already more than 160 at the site.
