Nordpark Business Park

The Nordpark success story: just three kilometres from the city centre, with excellent connections, a top playing field for companies with the guiding principles of sport, business and leisure has been created in recent years, which already provides jobs for over 6,000 people. And there is still plenty of room for new projects.

The Nordpark covers a total area of over 165 hectares and is home to many global and local champions. Together with PPG, over 10,000 car parking spaces are also operated, which offer modern access systems and e-charging options. In addition, the previous P8 gravel car park is currently being replaced by Aral pulse, which will be Germany’s largest fast-charging car park for electric vehicles. With a total of 28 charging bays for electric vehicles, this will take the e-mobility infrastructure of Nordpark and Mönchengladbach to a new level from mid-2024. There is also a bike-sharing station in the area.

Outstanding landmarks are our Borussia’s football stadium with its attached hotel, the largest field hockey stadium in Europe as well as the newly designed listed area as a unique business area with historical charm. With Business Park II, the success story has been consistently continued. Buildings such as the two towers of the Paspartou provide an attractive entry point to the location.

In terms of content, Nordpark serves as a business location for office users with a focus on the service industry, IT services, the financial sector and a new core of the healthcare industry. There are also exciting opportunities for life science & laboratory locations. The network “Wir am Nordpark” brings together the players across sectors.

The future expansion of the 65,000 m² site in the Lilienthalstrasse area, which was acquired by EWMG, also offers long-term prospects and growth opportunities.
